Unboxing the LG UltraGear 27GX790A felt like opening a pro-level esports monitor. The 480Hz refresh rate on a 27-inch QHD OLED panel is absolutely insane—motion clarity is beyond anything I've seen. The 0.03ms response time ensures no ghosting, and the high contrast ratio makes HDR content pop. FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync work flawlessly. That said, the monitor is expensive, and the brightness is only 275 nits typical, which might not be enough for bright rooms. Also, the stand is bulky. But for competitive gamers, this is a dream come true.
